STRANAHAN
MEMORIAL TOWN FOREST
The Town of Marshfield is seeking
proposals for sugaring on the Virginia Stranahan Memorial Town Forest.
The Town is also seeking bids for a timber sale to thin the sugarwoods.
The stands will be shown by County Forester Russ Barrett at 9:00 a.m. on
Friday, September 30th – interested parties should meet at
the parking lot on Hollister Hill Road, just north of the Light farm.

New in 2011, the town
completed work on the Thompson Road, parking area, and trails, with the
assistance of many volunteers and a recreation grant from Vermont
